Highlights: At Hamburg, Breanne Lamey made a layup with three seconds remaining to lift the Hawks (1-0, 3-1) over the Panthers (0-1, 1-3).

Schuylkill Valley went on a 10-0 run to begin the third quarter and led 21-9. However, Hamburg had a 20-7 advantage the rest of the way.

After the Hawks tied the game at 24-24 with 2:30 to go, Taylor Seitzinger gave them their first lead on a free throw and Alison Sunday added two more to make it 27-24.

In the final minute, Schuylkill Valley tied it on a 3-pointer by Kelsi Lykens (13 points) and went up 28-27 on a free throw by Jenn Hadden with 12 seconds to go.

Lauren Romig led the Hawks with 16 points.
