Highlights: At Exeter, the 14th-seeded Eagles (15-7) jumped out to a 16-4 first-quarter lead and never looked back in their win over the 19th-seeded Trojans (12-10) in the preliminary round of the District 3-AAAA tournament Friday.

Ben Savidge, who hit two 3s, led three Eagles in double-digits with 18 points.

Le’Quan Chapman had 13 points and Eric Sarra, who was 5-of-6 from the free-throw line, had 12.

Exeter led 39-28 after three quarters and staved off Chambersburg’s late rally. The Trojans hit eight 3s and made 14-of-21 free throws.
