Highlights: At Neffsville, Mifflin led the close PIAA play-in game by three points in the final quarter, but a key miss that would have expanded the lead and a key turnover in the final seconds led to the loss, which ended the season for the Mustangs (18-7), who lost their final three games.

Mifflin led 12-10 after a quarter and 18-16 at the half in a game in which no team led by more that four points.

Shawn Barczynski led the seventh-seeded Mustangs with 10 points. Caroline Suminiski had 13 for 20th-seeded Hershey (16-10).

Mifflin defeated Hersey 46-43 in the second game of the season in December.

"The extra four games we got in districts were good for our team because we're still pretty young," said Mustangs coach Rick Bausher. "It should really help us in the future."
