Highlights: At Leesport, Corielle Yarde's second 40-point effort of the season wasn't enough to help the Panthers (6-4)) dig out of a big early hole in losing to the Blue Raiders (9-3).

Yarde scored 24 second-half points to help the Panthers trim a 13-point third-quarter deficit down to three in the final minutes.

Erika Barron scored a team-high 34 points for Tamaqua, including 12 in the third quarter as the Raiders pushed their lead to 61-48.

Barron is 33 points shy of 2,000 for her career.

Yarde, a junior, went over the 1,000 career mark last week.

She is averaging 27.4 points per game.

Yarde set the Schuylkill Valley single-game scoring mark earlier this season with 41 points.
