Highlights: At Mertztown, Josh Parris sparked a big second quarter that helped the Pirates (4-5) take command in beating the Bullets (4-7).

Parris scored nine of his game-high 18 points in the second quarter when the Pirates outscored the Bullets 17-10 to take a seven-point lead into halftime.

A.J. Sadowski led Brandywine with 12 points.

The Pirates were good on 13-of-16 free throws, including 8-of-11 in the final quarter.
