Highlights:
Lonnie Walker IV scored 19 points to lead a balanced attack as Reading High defeated Berks Catholic 67-39 to claim its second straight Berks Conference championship tonight at a packed Santander Arena.
A three-point play by Khary Mauras midway through the first quarter gave the top-seeded Red Knights (21-3) an 11-3 lead and they were never threated the rest of the way in winning their record 21st Berks title.
Isiah Cook scored 13 points and Mauras and Damon Stern 12 apiece for the Red Knights, who have won 16 straight.
Tyrone Nesby scored a team-high 16 points for the Saints (16-8), who also lost in last year's title game.
Walker got off to a slow start, going without a shot or point in the first quarter; he had just three points at the half.
He heated up in the final quarter, scoring 12 points, including five free throws.
The Red Knights completed the most dominant run to a title in modern Berks history, winning each of their games by 20 points or more.
