Highlights: Second-seeded Berks Catholic shook off a sluggish start to beat seventh-seeded Northern Lebanon 52-34 in a District 3 Class 4A quarterfinal at Wolf Gymnasium.

The Saints (24-2) reeled off 18 straight points over the second and third periods after seeing the Vikings (16-8) take a one-point lead.

Casey Jack scored a game-high 17 points and had eight rebounds and Luis Garcia scored 14 points for the Saints.

Berks Catholic advances to a district semifinal Monday against No. 3 Middletown at Penn Manor at 6:30.

The win was the 20th straight for the Saints, one short of a school record.

Keba Mitchell had 13 points, seven rebounds and two blocks for the Saints.
