Highlights: At New Schaefferstown, the Trojans (1-6 Berks III, 5-11) squandered a 17-point halftime lead, but regrouped in the final four minutes to hold off the Cougars (2-5 Berks IV, 5-10).

Down 26-9 at the half, Kutztown battled back behind a big third quarter, then tied it at 37-all midway through the fourth. Zach Zima came off the bench to trigger the comeback, scoring 11 of his team-high 15 points in the third, when the Cougars put 22 on the board.

But Tulpehocken finally adjusted to Kutztown's pressure, and Zach Connors made three of his four free throws down the stretch to help the Trojans hold on. Connors finished with a game-high 20 points.

After Tulpehocken missed two free throws with 8.8 seconds to play, Kutztown had a last chance to tie or win. But the Trojans tightened their defense and a Cougars desperation shot missed at the buzzer.
