Highlights: Down six with two minutes left, the Cardinals (2-0) went on a 9-2 run and escaped with a one-point win over the Indians (1-1) at Coal Township.

Casey Hoffman made a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to one before Rachel Schleicher gave Central Catholic the lead with a short jumper with 22 seconds remaining.

Schleicher, who finished with a game-high 18 points, stole the ball with two seconds left to seal the win.

Krissy Wrobel had 14 rebounds for Central.
