Highlights: Trevor Seitz broke loose for 18 third-quarter points as sixth-seeded Eastern York overcame an eight-point halftime deficit to eliminate 10th-seeded Berks Catholic from the District 3 Class 4A Tournament 55-47 Monday in Wrightsville.

The Saints (13-11) will miss the PIAA Tournament for just the second time in their nine seasons.

Seitz finished with a game-high 26 points, all in the second half.

Freshman Ryan Koch hit three 3-pointers in the second quarter to help Berks Catholic to a 25-17 halftime lead.

Matt Harley led the Saints with 19 points, including five 3-pointers. He finished the season with 68 3's, breaking the school record of 65 set by Tyrone Nesby IV in 2016.

Michael Gaines scored 11 points for the Saints, who led 9-6 after a quarter and 25-17 at the half.

The Knights (15-9) scored 25 points in the third quarter to go up 41-39.

Eastern will play Octorara for the fifth and final state berth Wednesday.

Top-seeded Lancaster Catholic will play second-seeded Bishop McDevitt in the Class 4A championship game Thursday at Giant Center at 8.

McDevitt, the defending champion, advanced with a 53-46 win over No. 3 Elco.

Lancaster Catholic advanced with a 48-46 win over No. 4 Susquehanna Township.
