Highlights: Thursday at Laureldale, Anthony Espinoza matched his career high with 17 points and Edwin Suarez had 12 points a game-high 15 rebounds as the Muhls (2-1, 3-1) held off the Mustangs (0-1, 0-2) in a Berks I-II crossover.

The Muhls moved into sole possession of first place in Berks II.

Matt Harley came off the bench to score a team-high 15 for Mifflin, 13 in the second half.

The Muhls led by nine after a quarter and 10 at the half before the Mustangs narrowed the gap behind Harley, who hit a pair of 3's and scored eight points in the third quarter.

Suarez scored six points in the final quarter and Espinoza and T.J. White each had five. White finished with 14 points.

Erron Archie had five assists for the Muhls.

Greg Suber had 12 points for Mifflin.

The teams split their two games last season, each winning on the other's home court.
