Highlights: After a tough loss to Exeter Friday night, the Wilson Bulldogs wanted to bounce back with a strong win over Easton in the Berks/Lehigh Shootout.



Buoyed by a 10-0 run leading into halftime, the Bulldogs did just that, defeating the Rovers 56-35 at Geigle Complex.



The Bulldogs offense was powered by junior guard Christian Sload, who scored 24 points on 9-15 shooting. Sload, the team’s leading scorer, averaged 15.4 points per game coming into Saturday.



The Rovers were led by senior forward Rodney Arrington, who scored 10 points on 4-8 shooting.



The Bulldogs went into half with a 30-16 lead, with Sload scoring 17 first-half points, and the Rovers never recovered, closing the gap to 10 before the game spiraled out of control.
