Highlights: Spring-Ford got off to a scorching start in Friday night's second Pioneer Athletic Conference boys basketball semifinal and never let up in a 62-30 rout of Pope John Paul II at Spring-Ford High School.

Nigel Cooke scored 18 and Matt Gnias 16 for the Rams (17-6), who led 18-6 after four minutes and blew the game open with a 22-3 third quarter. Rich Dunham scored 11 for the Golden Panthers (11-12).

The Rams will face Perkiomen Valley in the championship game Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Spring-Ford.
