Highlights: Perkiomen Valley won the Pioneer Athletic Conference girls basketball championship Wednesday night, knocking off defending champion Boyertown 45-25 at Spring-Ford High School.

The Vikings (22-2) led just 14-13 at the half, but out-scored the Bears 13-3 in the third quarter. Megan Jonassen collected 12 points and 13 rebounds for PV and KT Armstrong scored 12. Abby Kapp scored 11 for the Bears (18-6), who were out-rebounded 39-22 and shot 21 percent from the field.
