Highlights: Ryan Hughes' baseline jumper at the buzzer lifted Middletown over top-seeded Berks Catholic in a District 3 Class 4A semifinal at Garden Spot High School.

The Saints (20-7) took the lead on Luis Garcia's drive with 2.6 second left.

The fourth-seeded Blue Raiders (20-4) saw their inbounds pass from the opposite baseline knocked away with 1.6 seconds left.

Hughes took an inbounds pass from the opposite corner and got free on the baseline to knock out the Saints and send his team to Thursday's championship game against Lancaster Catholic.

Berks Catholic will face Bishop McDevitt Wednesday at 8 at Milton Hershey to determine third place.

Hughes finished with a game-high 16 points.

Garcia had 14 points and Keba Mitchell 15 rebounds for the Saints.
