Highlights: At Hummelstown, Lauren Kirsch scored 11 of her 17 points in the first quarter as the No. 7 Falcons (17-6) built an 11-point first-quarter lead in defeating the No. 10 Saints (15-8) in the first round of the District 3 Class 5A playoffs. Katie Weigle had 12 and Grace Day 11 for Lower Dauphin. Zariya Holt had a game-high 19 for Berks Catholic. The Saints were eliminated. Lower Dauphin moves on to play No. 2 Twin Valley in the quarterfinals Friday.
