Highlights
Abby Wild picked up a District 1-AAAA semifinal win Tuesday as No. 4 Perkiomen Valley beat top-seeded Upper Darby 5-1 in Malvern.
The Vikings (21-4) led 3-0 after five innings before adding two more runs in the seventh. The Royals posted zeroes across the board before scoring in the sixth to avoid the shutout.
Perkiomen Valley advances to the final to face No. 2 Avon Grove, which beat West Chester East 2-1 in the other semifinal, at Great Valley Thursday.
