Highlights
MILLERSVILLE - Kutztown freshman Katie Calkins pitched a no-hitter Thursday to lead the Cougars to a 2-0 win over Pequea Valley in the District 3-AA softball championship game at Millersville University.
Lead off hitter Ashley Donat scored both runs for Kutztown, one on an RBI single by Maria Meigio in the first and the other on an error in the sixth.
Jillian Siefert made a sliding catch in right field for the final out to preserve the no-hitter.
Calkins struck out one and walked one, getting 15 of 21 outs on ground balls.
