At Eagleville, A.J. Alexy pitched a four-hit shutout to lead the Raiders (19-7) past the Vikings (17-5) in the first round of the PIAA Class AAA Tournament. Twin Valley scored both of its runs in the first inning. Alec Ranck made it 1-0 on Richard Lennon's bases-loaded walk. Mitch Carsley scored the second run on a wild pitch. Archbishop Wood starter Joe Lancellotti, a North Carolina recruit, took the loss after striking out 13 and walking nine in 6 2/3 innings.
