Highlights
At Reiffton, the Bulldogs (2-7, 4-15) had runners at first and second base with one out in the seventh inning, but relief pitcher Chris Smith came through with back-to back strikeouts to preserve the shutout and pick up the save for the Eagles (6-3, 13-6) in a make-up game from May 4.
Eric Nein led off the fifth with a double and advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt by Cody Hart before Julian Torres and Smith followed with back-to-back doubles to give Exeter the game's only runs.
Chase Zurawski went 2-for-3 for Wilson.
