Camp Hill at Brandywine Heights

At Mertztown, number five seed Camp Hill used four home runs to power to a 10-9 victory over number four seed Brandywine Heights in a District-3 AA quarterfinal playoff game. Down eight runs, Brody Lesher led a comeback attempt for the Bullets, who scored five in the fifth inning and four in the sixth. Lesher doubled twice, driving in three runs, and scoring twice however the Lions added two in the top of the sixth and never relinquished the lead. Brandywine Heights did get a runner to second base with two outs in the bottom of the seventh via a walk and a groundout, however a line drive back to the box was caught ending the game. Camp Hill (14-7) next plays top seed Oley Valley in the semifinals on Tuesday. Dan Butz was 2-for-4 with two runs batted in for Brandywine Heights (13-8).
