Conor Larkin allowed three hits and struck out nine in six innings to lead No. 10 Spring-Ford to a 9-0 shutout win over No. 3 Upper Dublin (13-5-1) in a District 1-AAAA fifth-place playback game at Fort Washington.
Ethan Hellberg went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBIs and Ryne Moore struck out the side in the seventh to seal the win for the Rams (19-6), who will face Marple Newtown Thursday at 4 p.m. at West Chester Henderson for the fifth and final district berth in the PIAA playoffs.
