Highlights:At Hummelstown, Matt Close scored four goals and Reid Reinhart had three as the third-seeded Bulldogs (22-1) rolled past the Thundering Herd (17-2) to advance to the District 3 championship. Wilson scored three unaswered goals to break open a one-goal game and lead 5-1 at halftime. The Bulldogs delivered a strong defensive effort and held Carlisle (17-2) to 23 shots. Trey Yetter made seven saves for Wilson. Ryan Connolly and Connor Howell each had two goals and an assist and Julian Jackson had a goal and three assists. Wilson will face top-seeded Manheim Township, a 15-3 winner over fourth-seeded Hershey, for the championship at 7 p.m. Thursday at Hersheypark Stadium. The Bulldogs had already clinched a PIAA playoff berth.
