Highlights:Boyertown broke the game open early with a 17-point run at the start the second quarter and went on to a crucial 63-41 Pioneer Athletic Conference boys basketball win Tuesday night over visiting Perkiomen Valley.
The Bears (7-5, 12-8), who can clinch a PAC-10 Final Four spot with a win over Spring-Ford on Thursday, were led by Rob Merwarth's 15 points, 14 by Ben Longacre, and 11 by Jerry Kapp. Sean Moriarty scored 18 for PV (4-8, 6-13).
