Highlights:At Kutztown, Tim Conrad had two goals and an assist as the Cougars (2-0, 4-0) edged the Blue Jays (1-1, 1-1) in a wild game.
After Holy Name scored with 1:30 left in the first half to pull within 2-1, Kutztown restored its two-goal lead early in the second.
But the resilient Jays answered six minutes later to make it 3-2. The Cougars quickly padded their lead again, though, scoring a minute later.
Holy Name pulled within a goal again with 10 minutes remaining, but Conrad scored 60 seconds later to make it 5-3.
Matt Banta scored a goal for the Jays a minute after Conrad's goal to make it 5-4, but Cougars keeper Chad Woodland made a couple of big saves down the stretch to preserve the win.
Mark Yost had a pair of goals for Holy Name. Stephen Hobaugh and Jorge Luna each had a goal and an assist for Kutztown.
