Highlights:Danny Cassidy had three goals and an assist for No. 14 Spring-Ford, which came up short against No. 10 Bishop Shanahan Thursday in a District 1 fifth-place match at Harriton High School.
The Eagles scored four third-period goals to take the lead and held on in the fourth to beat the Rams (21-3), who were defeated for the second time in six days after starting 20-1.
Ryan Rosenblum, Kevin Todd and Ray Orcutt each had a goal for Spring-Ford.
Bishop Shanahan advances to the PIAA playoffs, which begin Wednesday.
