Highlights: Evan Niedrowski ran for a pair of touchdowns and intercepted a pass in the red zone to help second-seeded Wyomissing dominate third-seeded Boiling Springs 47-7 Saturday in a District 3 Class 3A semifinal at the A-Field.

Jordan Auman ran for 103 yards, including touchdowns of 32 and 50 yards, for the Spartans (6-0), who are ranked No. 2 in the state in Class 3A.

Wyomissing advances to play at top-seeded Middletown Friday at 7 in the district championship. The Spartans beat the Blue Raiders 24-21 in last year's championship game.

Niedrowski scored on TD runs of 2 and 1 yards and Jason Gartner ran for 88 yards on four carries as part of a Wyomissing ground game that racked up 400 yards.

The defense held the Bubblers (4-2) to their lowest scoring total of the season and came up with pair of key red zone stops in the first half. Niedrowski stopped the first with an interception at the 3. The second ended with consecutive sacks, by Jack Feightner and Steve Olexy, after the Bubblers had driven to the 15.

Wyomissing scored on each of its four first-half possessions to take a 27-0 lead into the half.

The Spartans lost their three-game shutout streak when the Bubblers scored late in the third quarter against Wyomissing's second defensive unit. The Spartans led 40-0 at the time.
