At Kutztown, Brock Krumanocker threw a perfect game as the Cougars (1-0, 2-1) blanked the Cardinals (0-1, 2-1).
Krumanocker, who struck out six and threw just 65 pitches, faced three full counts through the first four innings and dominated the rest of the way, facing only one 2-ball count over the final three frames.
It was the first career perfect game for Krumanocker, who got three of his six strikeouts in the final two innings.
Zach Wild went 2-for-2 with a walk and his courtesy runner scored three times while Brett Hauck had two RBIs for Kutztown.
