At Hamburg, freshman Thomas Dennis hit a two-run single in the seventh inning to lift the Spartans (2-8, 4-13) to the upset win over the Hawks (6-4, 11-6). With two out, Wyomissing put runners on second and third with a walk, a single by John Bonino and a balk before Dennis delivered. Dennis and Bonino each had two singles for the Spartans. For Hamburg, Zach Graham had two singles and two RBIs and Logan Lesher had two singles.
