At Millersville University, Katie Shaub threw a one-hitter, striking out 10, in leading the Muhls (22-5) to the win in the District 3-AAA third place game. Muhlenberg qualified for the PIAA tournament with the victory.
The Muhls scored their lone run in the sixth inning, when Rachael Trupp hit a leadoff triple and scored on Mya Lobb's single.
Big Spring's Calli Pastor hit a one-out double in the seventh, but never advanced.
