At Kutztown's Breidegam Field, Andrew Gernert tripled, drove in three runs and scored two, leading the Cougars (7-4, 10-9) past the Spartans (1-10, 3-15). Winning pitcher Dustin Smith went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Kutztown and Jake Fegley and Dalton Balthaser each went 2-for-3. For Wyomissing, Brian Bamberger was 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBIs and Justin Causa was 2-for-4 and scored.
