|
At Mechanicsburg, No. 5 Greencastle Antrim (17-5) scored twice in the eighth inning to break a scoreless tie and held on to beat No. 4 Twin Valley.
A pair of singles followed by two wild pitches and a two-out hit led to Greencaste's two runs.
The Raiders (15-6), who were held hitless through 7 2/3 innings, got the tying runs on base with two outs in the eighth but were unable to capitalize.
Sam Lichtner struck out ten batters and Devon Haddow had the lone hit for Twin Valley, which was eliminated from playoff contention.
