At Laureldale, John Henninger drew a bases-laoded walk to score one run and Conor Williams followed with an RBI single as the Muhls (1-0, 1-1) scored twice in the sixth to beat the Blazers (0-1, 0-2). Two walks and an Austin Eppenstein single loaded the bases in the sixth. Tyler Sassaman threw a five-hitter for the win, striking out eight without a walk. Justin Herring allowed just three hits and struck out nine in six innings for Boone.
