At Birdsboro, Andy Ravel pitched a four-hitter and Ian Shaffer knocked in a run and scored a run as the Bulldogs (3-2, 5-3) edged the Blazers (0-5, 1-9). Shaffer went 3-for-3, singling in a run in the first and then scoring on a double steal. Ravel doubled and singled for Wilson and struck out seven without a walk. For Boone, Pop Lacey limited the Bulldogs to two runs and six hits, striking out five and walking none.
