At Wilson West Middle School, Kyle Gaynor doubled, singled and drove in a run as the Bulldogs (7-3, 11-5) edged the Blazers (2-8, 4-15). Adam Bainbridge picked up the win with four shutout innings of one-hit ball and Andy Ravel got the save with 1 1/3 innings of relief. Wilson scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch in the fourth inning. For Boone, Doug Schilling had an RBI single and starting pitcher John Reina allowed four hits and six walks in six innings and struck out eight.
