At Birdsboro, Becca Slattery pitched a complete game, allowed one hit and struck out 17 to lift the Blazers (1-0, 1-0) over the Muhls (0-1, 1-2). Slattery walked none in the game. Daniel Boone scored all its runs on fielding errors by Muhlenberg in the third inning. Heather Natale had the lone hit for the Muhls.
