At Royersford, Dan Woodley and Brandon Griesemer combined on a one-hit shutout to lead Boyertown to its second straight PAC title. The Bears (14-8) got a second-inning RBI single from Corey Postell and a third-inning RBI single by Luke Stong to take a 2-0 lead. Boyertown tacked on three more runs in the fourth on a Wesley Fox's fielder's choice RBI, Corey Fox's sacrifice fly and an RBI single by Dalton Weeks, who went 4-for-4. Woodley struck out seven and walked one in four innings to get the win and Griesemer allowed a hit and a walk in three scoreless innings to pick up the save. It was the fifth straight win for Boyertown, which is 8-4 over its last 12. The two teams split during the regular season, Boyertown winning 9-7 April 8 and Methacton (16-6) winning 5-2 on April 30.
