STATE COLLEGE -- Megan Olsen pitched a four-hit shutout and Jessica Musser hit an RBI single in the fourth inning to give Brandywine Heights a 1-0 win over Riverside Friday morning in the PIAA Class AA softball championship game at Penn State.

The victory gives the Bullets (27-2) their first state softball titles in five tries.

Sam Sweigart and Amanda Hess each had two of Brandywine's five hits against Riverside ace Kirsten Wilson.

Riverside (22-1) surrendered just its eighth run of the season and lost in the state finals for the fourth time without a win.
