At Shillington, the Mustangs (4-1, 9-3) scored six runs in the first inning with the help of seven errors by the Blazers (3-3, 5-5) and opened a one-game lead in Berks I. Doug McFarland homered and singled for Gov. Mifflin, Earl Kochel singled twice and drove in three runs, Niko Hulsizer had a double and two RBIs and Zach Weidner had two singles. For Daniel Boone, Bryce Stout doubled and singled and Joey Moyer had two singles.
