At Boyertown, Tyler Bauman pitched a one-hitter as the Bears (18-4) defeated the Red Raiders to advance to the District 1 quarterfinals. Bauman allowed only three batters to reach base while he struck out six over seven innings of work. All three Boyertown runs came in the first inning as Tyler Comport and Brandon Griesemer had back-to-back RBI hits and Dan Purnell laid down a sacrifice bunt for an RBI. The Bears will face Pennridge Friday.
