At Mertztown, Steve Seyler was 3-for-3 with four RBIs and Mike Ference was 3-for-4 with three RBIs as the Bullets (1-0, 3-1) opened league play by defeating the Trojans (0-2, 0-2).

Winning pitcher Ben Pritchard threw a three-hitter an also homered and drove in two runs and Kyle Stoudt was 2-for-2 with four runs for Brandywine, which broke it open with a six-run first.

Losing pitcher Brian Miller doubled for Tulpehocken.
