At Owls Field, Sam Eagleson went 3-for-5 with two doubles, three runs and three RBIs as the Mustangs (17-6) pounded out 17 hits in downing the Rockets (13-8) in a District 3-AAAA opener. Casey Casantini went 3-for-4 with two runs and threw five innings for the win, Rich Schlamowitz was 2-for-4 with three runs, and Jose Leon, Rob Cala and Matt Snyder all drove in three runs for Mifflin.
