Highlights:
At Hamburg, the Panthers (2-2, 7-8) swept the first seven bouts and held on to defeat the Hawks (2-1, 8-7), ending Hamburg's 24-match league winning streak. The loss was Hamburg's first in the division since a loss at Schuylkill Valley on Jan. 3, 2013. Jethro Solomon got Schuylkill Valley started with a fall at 126 and the Panthers built a 33-0 lead with the help of falls from Jack Bennett at 145 and Teddy Limberiou at 170. Reese Mason finally got Hamburg on the scoreboard with a fall at 182. But George Limberiou won a key 4-2 decision at 195 for Schuylkill Valley's last points. It was just enough for the Panthers to hold on despite falls by Brandon Kessler at 285, Tyler Reimert at 113 and Shane Strausser at 120 in three of the last four bouts.
