Highlights
At Birdsboro, winning pitcher Jordan Gottshall slammed a pair of three-run home runs, leading the Eagles (1-0 Berks I, 2-3) to a five-inning win over the Blazers (0-2 Berks II, 1-4).
Gottshall limited Boone to three hits in his complete game, striking out six and walking three. Ryne Gery went 2-for-3 and scored two runs and Mark Brown went 2-for-3.
For the Blazers, Jason Henderson went 2-for-2.
