At Shillington, Katie Erb tossed a three-hitter and struck out seven and Carissa Harris drove in the lone run with a sixth-inning single as the Blazers (9-1 Berks II, 12-2) edged the Mustangs (6-3 Berks I, 10-5).
Boone moved a half-game ahead of Twin Valley, which beat third-place Muhlenberg Tuesday. Muhlenberg is one game back.
Liz Kangas had two hits for the Blazers.
Jess Epler scattered eight singles, struck out seven and walked just one in a tough-luck loss for Mifflin, which now leads second-place Exeter by just half a game.
