Muhlenberg at Gov. Mifflin

At Shillington, the Muhls (6-0 Berks II, 12-0) exploded for five runs in the 11th as they won the pitchers' dual with the Mustangs (2-2 Berks I, 5-4). Muhlenberg's Katie Schaub allowed three earned runs on 11 hits and no walks in 11 innings. She struck out five. Gov. Mifflin counterpart Jess Epler gave up six earned runs on nine hits and four walks over 11 innings. She struck out 12, and had only allowed a run on six hits through 10. Muhlenberg broke the 1-1 tie in the top of the 11th as Kayla Hracho and Ellen Polyniak each delivered two-run singles. Mifflin answered with a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning, but couldn't tie it back up. Schaub, Polyniak and Mya Lobb all went 2-for-5 for Muhlenberg. Epler and Sam Denlinger each went 3-for-5 and Rachel Kline was 2-for-5 for Mifflin.
