At Leesport, Joey Peters and Caleb Wessner each finished 3-for-4 with two runs to lead the Cougars (6-2 Berks IV, 9-4) past the Panthers (2-7, 2-13).
Schuylkill Valley tied it 4-4 in the fifth inning on Jason Bebow's home run. But Wessner led off the next inning with a single and scored the go-ahead run on an error.
