Gov. Mifflin at Reading High

At George Field, the Red Knights (7-3, 12-6) scored four times in the seventh to beat the Mustangs (8-3, 11-8) and stay alive for the Division I title. A victory by Reading in its final game, over Exeter, will force a tie for first place and require a divisional playoff. The Red Knights and Eagles were tied 1-1 late Wednesday at George Field when the game was halted by rain. Reading's miraculous winning rally included a pair of infield singles, a double, two walks and a throwing error. The one-out error allowed pinch-runner Luis Deoleo to score from third with the winning run. The Knights got on the board with an RBI double from Frankelvin Reyes. Jose Torres added an RBI single and William Vanderhorst a sacrifice fly. Reading had just one hit entering the final inning.
