Exeter at Brandywine Heights

At Lyons, Jenn Dalickas hit a first-inning home run and Alyssa Fegely gave up a leadoff triple and no hits the rest of the way as Berks III champ Brandywine Heights (19-0) outlasted Berks I runner-up Exeter (9-6). Dalickas hit an opposite field home run for the only run. Kaila Balatget hit a game-opening triple for Exeter, but Fegely got out of the jam when she fielded a squeeze bunt and got the ball to catcher Leanda Helms for the tag at the plate. Fegely struck out six, walked two and hit a batter. She also tripled. Exeter pitcher Kaitlin Rathman allowed three hits and struck out two. The Bullets face Berks II champ Daniel Boone in a 7 p.m. semifinal at Lyons Monday.
