Highlights
At Lyons, Jess Epler threw a no-hitter as the Berks I champion Mustangs (13-5) topped the Berks III runner-up Panthers (8-9) in a Berks League quarterfinal.
Epler walked one and struck out 11. She was also 3-for-4 at the plate.
Mifflin scored in the first on an Alex Kissinger single. The Mustangs added two more in the third on RBI singles by Rachel Fritz and Logan Focht, then got an RBI single from Rachel Lawes in the fifth. Focht went 2-for-4.
The Mustangs advance to Monday's semifinals at Lyons, where they'll play the Kutztown-Muhlenberg winner at 5 p.m.
